The AOL Impact Programs are a one-stop resource for homeless families who have been referred to us by the McKinney-Vento representative in multiple KCK and KCMO school districts.

Our focus is on the child. Our Impact families are able to accomplish in 3–4 weeks what would normally take 3–4 months, due to the power of collective impact.

These Impact programs serve over 6,000 unduplicated individuals per year.

  • First month rent and deposit.
    Campaign Goal: 200 families in 2026.
    $4,000 per family.

  • Stock both for 1 month for 600+ families.
    $10,000

  • Transitional short-term housing for victims of trauma.
    6-unit apartment building in KCK.
    AOL Case Manager on site + 5 families.
    $25,000

  • Past due bills and utility deposits.
    $500 per family.

  • Buys one food pack for a family of 4 for the weekend.
    $75 per family.

  • Kitchen items, cleaning supplies, bedding.
    $250 per family.

  • Gives 25 families a new beginning with long-term case management and full wrap around services.
    $100,000

  • Intensive case-management for up to 50 families.
